Q. Why is The Fieldhouse a good venue?
The Fieldhouse at Carleton University is simply the
best facility
for a show in Ottawa because it offers 40,000
square feet of clear bright
space, is 10 minutes from downtown and (you'll
love this) has
free parking for thousands of cars.
Q. What about accommodation?
A. A good site to visit is http://hotel-guides.us/ontario/ottawa-on-hotels.html
Q. Is there onsite storage?
A. Nothing inside-
but your vehicle can be parked in one of the FREE PARKING
lots.
Q. Are food or beverages allowed in the building?
A. No.
Q. Can we have anything in the aisle space?
A. Nothing. Our aisles strictly conform to Fire Regulations.
Q. Can we set up a tent?
A. Yes – but it needs to be:
a) flame proof or treated with a flame retardant chemical
b) and you need a fire extinguisher
c) the Fire Marshall will be around to inspect
Q. Can we use overhead displays?
A. Only with consent from Show Management.
Q. What if I lose my exhibitor wristbands for getting in and
out of the show?
A. Replacement cost is $10.00 each payable at the main
entrance.
Q. Can I have any type of open flame (i.e. candles etc.)
at the show?
A. No.
Q. Can I paint inside the building?
A. No. |
